FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How long should I wait to drive on my new asphalt driveway?
We generally recommend waiting at least 24 to 48 hours before driving or parking on a newly paved surface. During extreme summer heat, you may want to wait an extra day to ensure the asphalt has fully cured and hardened to prevent tire scuffs or indentations.
How often should I sealcoat my pavement?
To maximize the lifespan of your asphalt, you should sealcoat it every 2 to 3 years. Sealcoating provides a protective barrier against water, oil, and UV damage, keeping the surface flexible and preventing the oxidation that leads to cracking and graying.
